About:
Starting in beautiful tropical Port Douglas were; Cale, Steve and Brad who got musical together after a few shows in Cairns and playing the 'Karanda Little Day Out'. They soon started to realise there was not much of a music industry in FNQ. So, they jumped out off their hammocks and moved to the southern suburbs of Sydney at the end of '99 going under the name Breen. Snapping up Woody (Drums) was a gruelling 7 month search, the boys tried out a lot of interesting drummers, "Some," says Steve (Vox), "should not be allowed near a drum kit EVER AGAIN! It was embarrassing and a horrible experience to watch most of them". Then a guy named Woody responded to the add, who by the way rocked up to the trial with a suit and tie fresh from a hard day at the office, first impressions were shocking, but soon faded after a couple of songs. "Soon as he bashed into his groove we found our guy!" Torch (keys) joined after hearing a demo 8 months later after splitting with his band, 'The Crown' which he fronted and by 2001 Breen where gigging around Sydney.

About:
Essentially this program is all about safe caravanning and an extraordinary journey into a fascinating part of outback Australia.
This journey takes us from Broken Hill in far western New South Wales through South Australia's wheat belt on to Port Pirie and Port Augusta, across the Eyre Peninsula towards Ceduna.
We will meet farmers, miners and fishermen. Bet you didn't know that the best bait to catch King George Whiting is a mollusc called a razor fish. Bet you also didn't know that Dutch explorers mapped this coastline in 1627 and they were going to settle there some 70 years before The First Fleet ever left England.
The novelist Jonathon Swift, who wrote Gulliver's Travels, used these early explorers' maps to create the setting for his story. Hence the area being known as "Lilliput", after the tiny Lilliputians who captured Gulliver.

About:
Cecil Taylor is the grand master of free jazz piano. All the Notes captures in breezy fashion the unconventional stance of this media-shy modern musical genius, regarded as one of the true giants of post-war music. Taylor is first seen musing over Santiago Calatrava's feecy architecture- a typical sign of the pianist's famed eclectic interests, which extend from soloing, combo and small orchestra work to spoken word performance. Seated at his beloved and battered piano in his Brooklyn brownstone the maestro holds court with frequent stentorian pronouncements on life, art and music. A massively interesting documentary on a true icon.

About:
Montana has more acres in the wilderness preservation system than all but 6 other states. Montanans spend significant amounts of time hunting, fishing, and hiking on these lands. They are a source of clean water, wildlife and inspiration. In AMERICAN VALUES, AMERICAN WILDERNESS, the late Christopher Reeve introduces us to a wide variety of citizens sharing their deep love of wilderness, from early childhood experiences to expressions of hope for the future. These are stories of love for the American wilderness, and an earnest plea to all to take an active role in its protection. AMERICAN VALUES, AMERICAN WILDERNESS was written and directed by Chris Barns, formerly of the BLM's Carhartt National Wilderness Training Center on the University of Montana campus in Missoula.
“Features ‘ordinary Americans’ in spectacular natural settings talking about what the idea of wilderness means to them. The real-life cast of American Values is deliberately diverse, challenging Outside and Adventure magazines’ portrayal of nature as the domain of Tactel- and Lycra-clad Yuppies. Native Americans, Latinos, African Americans, and the children of Cambodian refugees reminisce about their experiences in wilderness and how important open spaces ‘as free from human intervention and oversight as possible’ are to their identity and quality of life. At the end of its quiet, captivating hour, American Values has redefined wilderness as neither a commodity nor a luxury, but a public good that belongs to us all.” San Antonio Current
“Inspirational. Few things can inspire quite so much as the majesty of mother nature’s glory, and as an eclectic group of Americans including a Native American tribal chairman, a cancer survivor, a children’s book author, and the late film star Christopher Reeve all discuss just how the rolling hills and awe-inspiring beauty of the land have influenced their values, images of the very landscapes that captured their hearts offer viewers the rare opportunity to truly get back in touch with nature in an increasingly modernized world.” All Movie Guide
